Sigiriya is known as the 8th Wonder of the World UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Sri Lanka's most visited tourist destinations. The rocky plateau has been build by King Kasyapa used as a monastery since the 3rd - 5th century BC, Sigiriya is a stunning ruins of a castle atop a tall rock mountain. an engineering marvel, water was piped from the pools at the base of the rock mountain, all the way up to the castle.
